Anyone can write a game story.
We want to find deep connections with athletes and the sports they play -- across all levels and all sports.
Sure, this will touch on the top four major sports leagues -- NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL. But, so much more than that, we want to find the meaningful stories that go far beyond those four major North American leagues, the humans that play in those leagues, and the behind-the scenes stories that aren't always told.
What's the day-to-day life of an average minor league baseball player look like? Do you know a youth or high school athlete who accomplished something rare?
We won't be "breaking" any news. We won't be writing game recaps.
I have a day job, so I won't be spending 8+ hours per day on my endeavor either (at least not for the time being). But, what this will be, is a place to read engaging, behind-the-scenes stories of athletes, coaches, officials, across the United States -- and maybe, one day, we can reach across the globe.
